Dance Competition Week-End
Well, I have to say our girls on the Competition Team did AWSOME this week-end. Four teams from Dancer Girls' dance studio competed at the IDC competition in Tampa. My daughter's team took two dances and they received Platinum on both, the ballet took high score over all, high score in dance line and the Presentation Award, their tap took 2nd place in dance line. The other teams did equally as well. We basically swept the awards with just our five routines! Hectic Saturday to say the least. Sunday we went down again to the competition to watch the Seniors and take pictures. Awsome Event, next competition is in two weeks so we better keep it up!

Mii on Wii
Well, we have finally joined the civilized world and got a Wii. Dancer girl has been wanting one for over a year and we finally caved, well actually I wanted one too. Couldn't find one before Christmas, then when he got his bonus in February we would look for one for Valentines day. Still couldn't find one until this last Sunday. I said to keep it from Dancer Girl until her birthday in April, IT Hubby said she could have it for an early present. Ya, guess who won, and we will still buy her something for her birthday because the Wii will become old hat by then. Can you guess that she is an only child! We did have fun playing the Wii and creating Mii's this last week-end I have to confess. Do they have Wii Anonymous, I may become addicted!

OMG, Dancer Girl who is about to be 8 years old, asked "How do babies get into Mamma's tummies"! YIKES, what to say..."um...ah...well, the doctor kind of helped with you". We had conceiving problems so Hubby had to go in first and then I did and then we were pregnant.
So where did this come from, we had been talking on the way home from dance class about things that happened in school and this question comes out of the blue. At dinner I told Dancer Girl to ask Daddy what she had asked me in the car. She wasn't embarrassed or anything which I was glad for, maybe she will come to us with other questions. Dad said that we need to find a book that helps explain it all in terms she could understand. She bought it so it gives us a reprieve for a little while, but she never forgets anything so I am sure she will ask again.
So my hubby starts looking for a book that would explain everything, in not too detailed descriptions, and thinks he found it. Guess we will have to order it soon. Will let you know of title and how it goes when we give it to her.

Jersey Boys
Well, this is my first post, going well so far... Anyway, um... Oh ya... We went to Jersey Boys last night. It was fan-freaking-tastic and this was the touring show! We came away with the signed theater poster for the "Equity fights aids" they raise money for this time of year. Now it will complete our wall. We have 3 other signed Theater posters, one was the orignial cast of Lion King. Anyway we had a 4th one but it was unsigned so now it will look complete. My daughter "Dancer Girl" was very upset that we went without her. She loves most musicals she sees and when we told her we were going without her she ranted that it was "Unfair". Oh well, life is unfair little one and best get that in your mind right now. In hindsite I'm glad we didn't take her there was quite a bit of swearing in it. Not that she hasn't hear her share of them but it's best that she doesn't hear them one right after another. She would have loved the singing and dancing though. Thanks to Harry & Gail for not being able to use those tickets, sorry for the circumstances as they lost their dog over the week-end. Lost as in died not lost as in ran away.
